Benjamina Karić

We announce Benjamin Karić, a young intellectual whose knowledge will illuminate the stage at the CIM Forum 2024. Benjamin graduated and obtained her master's degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo, and she earned her doctorate from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zenica. Her research interests include the legal status of the Jewish community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and classical Roman law. She has authored over fifty publications, including books such as "Legal Status of the Jewish Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1918 to 1945" and "Price (pretium) in Classical Roman Law." She is also active in politics as the Vice President of the SDP BiH since 2019 and a member of numerous associations, like the Balkan Association for Roman Law, "Societas pro Iure Romano".
